How to Obtain a Permit :
You can put your name on the permit waiting list by calling 203-874-4507.
Daily Parking (Lot 4)
Day-to-day parking is available on a first-come, first-serve basis in the daily lot, which is located off high street, across from the train station. You should observe a Gray Booth when entering. There is an attendant at the lot from 4:15 a.m. to 9:00 a.m. Monday through Friday. If you arrive after the attendant leaves, you can still park. To do so:
1. Grab an envelope near the booth
2. Affix it to the inside of your dashboard
3. Pay when you return by mailing the envelope with cash or check to “Milford Transit District, 259 Research Drive, Milford CT” or dropping the payment off at our office.
If the daily lot is full, you can park in lot 3, just make sure to affix the payment envelope/stub to the inside of your dashboard.
The cost for the daily lot is 7$ per day.
Daily passes may also be purchased in advance.
Weekend Parking
Parking is free from Saturday morning (12:00 AM) until Sunday night (11:59 PM) in all lots at the Milford Train Station. If you park during the weekend and are not returning until after Monday (12:00 AM), you must park in the daily lot. Any cars remaining in the permit lots (1, 2, 3, 5) during the work-week, without an annual or semi-annual permit, will be ticketed and/or towed.
Overnight parking is permitted except in the event of a snowstorm.
Milford Transit is not responsible for loss or damage to vehicles or property.
Directions to The Milford Train Station :
From I95 North, Take Exit 37 –High Street. Make a right and follow High Street. Train station on left, daily parking on right.
From I95 South, Take Exit 36 – Plains Road. Left onto Plains Road Left onto Post Road. Then right onto High Street.
